About the Artist

Hey, thanks for checking out my site!

I'm Sine, a mid-30's he/they from mid-Michigan who's recently moved to the Finger Lakes region. I spent my first couple decades drawing original characters and stories, taking significiant influence from anime, book series, and fanfic. Then I spent nearly a decade as a physicist working on high-energy extra-dimensional gravity. I didn't realize just how much I loved art until I stopped doing it, so now I'm back at it and making up for lost time!

My latest art projects are inspired by eldritch fantasy, e.g., I like to play around with the collision of mundane living and cosmic horrors. I mostly use an analog-to-digital process, e.g., scanning pencils/inks and then post-processing in programs like Clip Studio Paint. There's nothing artificial here: all the art featured on this site came from my own human hands.
