A bearded man sits on the floor of an open bank vault. A USB stick and lanyard levitate in a figure eight above his open palm. Over his right eye, he wears a strange metallic eyepatch that has four long prongs. At the top of the image, a close-up of his intense gaze stares directly at the viewer.
0. The Fool (Tarot)
A man in a top hat, bow tie, safety goggles, apron, and long gloves points a wand-like chalk holder at the blueprint of a mechanical gecko. From the blueprint, that gecko emerges in a bright glowing orb of light. On the wall behind him, there are other blueprints.
I. The Magician (Tarot)
A woman with long, messy, dark hair and long horns points at the viewer with one hand and jingles a bell stick with her other. Around her, various demons turn their attention to the viewer, ready to strike. A cat-like masculine demon in dapper suit and big bowtie seems about to pounce. A grasshopper-like demon stands at the ready behind the woman, posed like a butler. A feminine demon in a drum major uniform whose bangs cover her eyes scoffs in disgust. A giant masculine demon with rectangular shapes for horns and similar angular paths tattooed across his body stares into the distance. A moth-like demon floats up above.
II. The High Priestess (Tarot)
With the help of a walking cane, a woman adorned with jewelry and wearing a full-length black dress stands presenting what looks like a painting, which has an information placard as if in a museum. However, only enough of the wall to hold the frame is actually present. Through the frame, a sun sets on a dramatically curved ocean horizon and heavy clouds drift above. The sky and ocean stretch forward, beyond the bounds of the frame, reaching all the way around the fragment of wall and into the foreground. Water would submerge the woman's shoes if not for a mysterious force repelling the waves away from her. The woman wears black gloves and a slight smile.
III. The Empress (Tarot)
A crowned man absonds into the sky with a pearl half his height. He wears an infinity scarf, long coat, and thigh high boots. He appears mid-leap, but closer examination reveals that one foot stands upon the edge of a hole shattered into space itself. He looks back towards his pursuer: a long cuttlefish-like dragon that winds through the sky and holds multiple such pearls. The dragon is a moment from snapping its open beak-like maw on the man; however, the man grins. With his free hand, he's punched a crack into space that has traveled to the dragon's head, shattering the dragon from the surrounding space, and turning the dragon's outline into a splintered mess. For now, the dragon is frozen in place.
IV. The Emperor (Tarot)
A man falls from the night sky towards a city below, dragged by an unconscious winged demon. The man wears a large sweater, stylish black pants, and boots. The demon resembles a velociraptor, but with large, white, bird-like wings, each of which has a black pattern resembling an eye. The man is tethered to the demon by a glowing thread which he determinedly holds in one hand. This thread may hasten his fall, but it also provides his only hope to survive: from a needle embedded in the demon's abdomen, the thread grows longer and longer, ultimately weaving itself into the man's own glowing pair of wings. These new wings have the same eye-like pattern as the demon's. In his other hand, he holds a broken bag, from which a ball of thread has fallen out.
V. The Hierophant (Tarot)
A well-dressed person stands at the upper landing of a stone staircase, silhouetted before a circular stained glass window depicting the flower of the tulip poplar tree. We look up at them from the base of a staircase, with sculptures of flower-filled vases on either side of the landing in which they pose. They wear a flower-like cravat and have medium-length blonde hair. In their outstretched right hand, they offer a glowing white berry to a man who struggles to climb the stairs towards them -- the man is infected with a strange mistletoe-like bush that covers most of his body and grows more of those same berries. A different victim lies facedown on the stairs, fully taken over by the same infection. The well-dressed person's left arm is a mass of leaves and vines that extend towards the fallen victim, transforming at their end into black snakes with glowing white eyes. From the bush growing on the victim's corpse, the snakes pluck more white berries.
VI. The Lovers (Tarot)
A woman confidently shuffles a deck of cards from one hand to the other over her head. Her long blonde hair forms a thick braid down her back, while wispy bangs frame either side of her cocky smile. She wears a black choker, a jean jacket over a white tee, jeans, and on her hip a white sword in a white sheath. The sword's pommel resembles a skull, and its cross-guard resembles a stylized pair of collar bones. The curtain on the wall behind her has been pulled open to reveal a chain-link fence patterned wallpaper. She stands at a poker table before a sizable pile of chips. Another player at the table -- a stressed man in a hoodie -- stares at his one remaining chip. Each player has a shackle on their left wrist, from which dangles a circular medal. We only see the back of the other players' medals, each of which depicts a skull. You're a player too. You look down at our own arm, shackle, and medal. In all caps, the medal reads 'PLAY'.
